A leading provider of senior care is currently recruiting for a Day Center Supervisor. The position is located off the 5 freeway for easy on/off access in downtown San Diego.

Under the supervision of the Center Director the Day Center Supervisor will manage the daily operations of the St. Paul‚s PACE Program Day Health Center. Responsibilities include the planning, coordination and implementation of all activities in the Day health Center as well as the supervision of the Day Center Workers.
Skills / Requirements
* Knowledge of principles, practices standards and techniques of a C.N.A.
* Working knowledge of the PACE regulations.
* Working knowledge of San Diego‚s healthcare and aging networks.
* Demonstrated effective leadership and decision-making skills.
* Effective supervisory skills.
* Ability to foster collaborative working relationships.
* Working knowledge of physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs of the frail elderly and their families.
* Working knowledge of quality improvement and cost containment systems.
* Ability to apply creative problem-solving skills..
* Ability to effectively and efficiently plan, prioritize and follow-up on/delegate responsibilities.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Working knowledge of local health care and geriatric service networks
Important Notes
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, current California Certification as a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) required. Shall be at least 18 years of age.
Experience: A Minimum of one year‚s experience in working with the frail or elderly population required. One year‚s of management experience, preferably in a geriatric care setting required. Shall have either training or related experience in the job assigned.
