Job Summary

Under moderate supervision, service incoming and/or outgoing calls from/to clients, vendors, agents and brokers. CSR s must accurately process account information utilizing computer keyboarding skills. While you may have primary responsibilities in specific areas, all CSR s are expected to perform all tasks as business needs dictate.

Job Responsibilities

Typical tasks and assignments include but not limited to the following:
* Receives oral/written instructions as to work assignments, which may include working other accounts not typically assigned to their team
* Applies learned customer service skills to accurately provide status to clients, vendors, agent/brokers, and update the Ebix systems accordingly
* Demonstrates/applies comprehension of insurance policies, cancellations, reinstatements, endorsements, reports, Ebix BPO website, and all insurance related documents
* Monitor and review account for accuracy (logo s, formatted correctly, printing at correct intervals, all notices types are printing, etc)
* Identify and report systems issues and client related problems
* Be able to learn cross-training in other client groups
* Help other team members accomplish a task when appropriate
* Have confidence to make appropriate decisions to serve our customers
* Meet or exceed acceptable standards of performance;
* Have confidence to make appropriate decisions within job scope to serve their customers.
Accountabilities & Performance Objectives
* Meet established attendance and performance standards
* Demonstrate appropriate customer service skills and etiquette
* Apply attention to detail and quality per call and account
* Notifying and working with Call Center Team Leader to identify any additional training that may be needed, issues, and/or concerns
Qualifications
* High School degree, or greater
* Strong Customer service skills
* Strong communications skills
* Insurance knowledge and experience preferred
* Able to work well under pressure
Reports to: Call Center Team Leader
