Join the growing and unique Center for Compassionate Care that provides support for those grieving the death of a loved one or friend, and clients dealing with serious illness. Accept responsibility for carrying out the mission, vision, values and quality commitment of the Elizabeth Hospice through the role of mentoring, clinical supervision and education to post graduate interns. The role will also contribute to the programs of the Center for Compassionate Care including a lead role with serious illness related counseling/ support group services, school based support groups and see clients as needed. Works closely with the CCC Bereavement Coordinator to assign hospice and community clients. Intern Coordinator also provides oversight into intern's documentation practices and educates regarding compliance to Medicare regulations. Make a difference in lives every day and help foster the development of additional professionals along the way.
Skills / Requirements
License/Education/Qualifications Required:
Must be licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have a minimum of 2 years experience supervising interns. Coordinator must also have experience providing counseling to bereaved adults and children as well as those who are coping with a life threatening or serious illness. Candidate must also be up to date on their mandatory Clinical Supervisor continuing education units. Must have excellent communication skills, ability to foster a cooperative work environment and ability to analyze and solve problems.
