If you are interested in inspiring hope through service and providing individuals and families with the tools to improve their quality of life, than Volunteers of America is the place for you! We are looking for Caseworkers for our parolee services that will complete special projects, assist in developing treatment modalities, facilitate group and educational presentations.
High school diploma or GED, BA degree in social services, education or related field. 1-3 years of paid work experience in parolee or alcohol and drug services.

No relocation provided, San Diego area candidates preferred.
Duties:
1. Manage consistently with the Philosophy, Mission, Goals and Values of the Volunteers of America.
2. Assist in the development and operations of all program services.
3. Hold sufficient group sessions as outlined in the scope of work to meet contract requirements and the client population needs.
4. Complete assessments, treatment plans, and weekly progress notes for every client assigned to the caseload.
5. Complete documentation for all clients attending group sessions.
6. Participate in monthly summary to review client level of participation.
7. Participate in all clinical quality improvement sessions and training.
8. Provide information, presentations and outreach to the community as needed.
9. Enforce all program safety policies and procedures and insure that residents, staff, and facility are safe at all times.
10. Maintain a good rapport, respect and communication with law enforcement or court officials, agency visitors, and community service agencies.
11. Maintain case records to assure clinical quality improvement and meet local and state licensing and certification standards.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager or Casework Supervisor.
