Jobing Description
In-home non-medical health agency hiring caregivers and CNA's for work in San Diego Central and North County. Requires one year paid eldercare experience in all aspects of personal care for work in our clients' homes. Personal Care includes assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and activities of daily living(ADL's), healthy meal preparation, light housekeeping, lifting/transfers, transportation, companionship and interactive activities. This is not facility work and you work with only one client. Hourly shifts of 2 and 4 hours, 12 hr. daytime shifts, 12 hr. overnight shifts and 24 hr. live-in shifts are available. Pay depends upon experience. Our company has available health, dental, vision plans and a 401k savings plan. We express our appreciation frequently to our employees, give out Scratcher cards (like lottery cards) with values up to $1,000 and organize an annual gathering at the holidays with gifts.
Skills / Requirements
Must be able to lift 25-40 lbs. Must have one year experience with eldercare including transfers, bed baths, and assisting with ambulation. Dementia/ Alzheimers/ Hospice experience very helpful but not required.
