Currently, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our replenishment and allocation division.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis on special projects or on an ad-hoc basis
  • Work with buyers to drive sales and maximize inventory investment.
  • Continuously review past results searching for greater efficiency in product movement and stocking levels
  • Prioritize and balance an ever-changing workload
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationship with merchandising team, inventory team, stores and vendors.
  • Own the computerized systems (JDA E3) that provide seasonal forecasts for inventory purchasing, receipts, and distribution.
  • Ensure E3 replenishment parameters accurately reflect business trends and company goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring attainment of service-level goals while helping maintain inventory efficiency
  • Work with vendors on forecasts and fill rates
  • Conduct standard replenishment process for all ongoing SKU‚s.
  • Review SKU forecast and adjust according to demand and seasonality.
  • Review and accept system driven vendor orders.
  • Identify (E3) overstocked merchandise and balance as needed.
  • Allocate seasonal, initial, one-time and fashion buys in the correct quantities to the correct stores.
  • Create SKU forecast and updates for vendor production requirements.
  • Act with strong sense of urgency to anticipate customer's needs

    Skills / Requirements

    Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to work independently, self-starter
  • Ability to follow through in timely manner; Detailed oriented
  • Demonstrates initiative on driving the business
  • 2 yrs experience w/JDA E3 Replenishment system, or equivalent, preferred
  • Computer skills proficiency MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • 2 years of retail experience preferred
