Description Associate Director, Marketing Promotions (Contractor) AT&T Interactive's robust YPSM Local Ad Network helps advertisers grow their business and distributes ads to a distinguished list of top publishers whose presence spans online, mobile and TV. AT&T Interactive's wide range of local ad products such as premium listings, performance-based advertising, and search engine marketing provides advertisers an opportunity to increase their presence among consumers who are looking for a local business. AT&T Interactive products are supported by a sales force of more than 5,000 from AT&T Advertising Solutions and other resellers. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Associate Director, Marketing Promotions (Contractor) in our Glendale offices. This is a highly creative position responsible for developing and executing creative promotional marketing programs that drive consumer and employee adoption, activation and engagement with AT&T Interactive’s online and mobile products in support of business strategies. Responsibilities include: contests, sweepstakes, promotional events, collateral, merchandising. Work closely and collaboratively with key AT&T contacts to grow the online and mobile product brand presence and awareness in the consumer marketplace including AT&T retail, U-Verse, Sales, etc. and to leverage promotional opportunities that will build product adoption and usage. Manage the Branded Merchandise Program including the online e-commerce site, production, and reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES
- May also include additional ad hoc marketing support as identified.
- Create highly engaging consumer promotions, contests and sweepstakes to stimulate adoption and usage of online and mobile products and to build brand awareness.
- Develop employee promotional programs to promote usage of products across broad AT&T employee base.
- Develop best-in-class collateral material to include, brochures, posters, signage and merchandising to support marketing and promotional events and sponsorships.
- Develop and manage collaborative cross-functional teams for projects.
- Work with internal stakeholders to build strategies based on company and product goals and needs.
- Manage projects from end-to-end, from strategy to management to execution and post-mortem. Develop project timelines and roadmap for all key initiatives and deliverables to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.
- Build relationships with key AT&T groups to leverage promotional opportunities and grow online and mobile product brand presence and awareness in the consumer market. (i.e. AT&T Retail Stores, U-Verse, etc.).
- Manage the Branded Merchandise Program supporting our growing house of brands including managing the online e-commerce site, production of premiums for various marketing events and internal company needs, and provide reporting to executives.
- Fulfill ad hoc promotional marketing requests from internal stakeholders.
- Ensure messaging and brand consistency across all areas of development.
- Manage outside promotional agencies and vendors in support of campaigns including RFP requests, contract negotiations, procurement, invoicing and adherence to campaign strategy and company processes, guidelines, and regulations.
- Creative marketing skills.
- 7 years experience in a fast-paced marketing environment.
- Bachelors Degree preferably in Marketing, Journalism or English.
- Internet / Mobile industry experience
- Excellent writing, editing, proofing and overall communication skills.
- Prior experience developing sales collateral/ Presentations.
- Hands-on experience managing promotional marketing programs.
- Prior experience managing large cross-functional teams and outside agencies and vendors.
- Prior experience managing branded merchandise and/or an e-commerce site.
- Detail and results oriented, comfortable working in a deadline driven environment.
- Team player with the ability to be flexible and change directions quickly .
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects; exceptional project management and organizational skills required.
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
