Vista Community Clinic is a private, non-profit medical, dental and social services center, with a mission to provide quality health care and health education to the community focusing on those facing economic, social, or cultural barriers.
We are currently seeking an experienced, pro-active, and detailed-oriented Administrative Assistant for our Health Promotion Center.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the Program Offices Building (shared spaces) and the Health Promotion Center.
Main Duties:
-Assist the Director in administration of the Health Promotion Center by working with the Assistant Director to streamline office operations
-Assist with the review and the implementation of VCC policy and procedures
-Work with Program Managers and Coordinators to help organize the contract and grant documentation.
- Work with our Finance and department to process incoming and outgoing invoices and payables for all HPC Programs and its staff members
-Serve as a liaison between Vendors, VCC Staff and our finance dept when necessary
- Coordinate and maintain the VCC Program Offices building shared spaces, and equipment.
- Provide administrative and technical support for HPC Program staff.
Skills / Requirements
Associates Degree with two years admin experience; Bachelors Degree strongly preferred.
Computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint and Outlook, Adobe. Strong ability to learn other programs as needed.
Must be able to accurately type minimum 40 words per minute.
Ability to work 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
